Ad Production Manager (Former Employee) – Springfield, OH – December 12, 2015
Opportunities for advancement were available. Non exempt allowed for a day. Exempt was basically a 24/7 operation at times in production areas, as a printed product had to hit the streets everyday. For most part it was a fast paced, exciting culture requiring multi-tasking and last minute changes. It was a good place to learn and grow and meet many interesting people.
Great company to work for, but they have had to downsize and do more with less like everyone else. Therefore, I lost my job. A typical day was very busy meeting various deadlines. Learned to deal with stress, and learned a lot about InDesign. My co-workers were great people. Some are still there. Most have moved on like me.

CoxOhio was a great place to work when times were good. However, changes in the newspaper industry inevitably affected the work environment there, as in all the other major national newspapers. However, If I hadn't reached retirement age I would have stayed.
