Productive
Health Assistant, Arkansas Early Learning (Current Employee), Jonesboro, ARJune 17, 2014
A typical day at work would be to make sure that each child has their recommend amount of immunization. If the child has had their health and wellness check ups. If the child has or has not seen a dentist. On some days, I may have to participate in a new orientation, which I would to train over the content area I work in. With the new hire orientation, – more... their would be people that have to have First Aid-CPR training, I would have to train those individuals. – less

Volunteer
Rescue Volunteer (Former Employee), Locust Grove VAMay 20, 2014
A typical day for us is usually running calls for auto accidents, people falling and needing help, people who are sick and need medical attention.I have learned alot from volunteering with a rescue squad. Ive learned how to help people in different situations and to do the best I can with what is around me. The management and coworkers are always plesant – more... and ready to help. The hardest part of this job is seeing people hurt. – less

Productive, Engaging Artistic Workplace with Fun Kids
Art Teacher (Current Employee), New York, NYMay 9, 2014
A typical day at work involves helping children grow through challenges and learn more about themselves. What I learned through my previous jobs as an art teacher is that kids learn alot about themselves through small obstacles such as art. Using my knowledge of both the arts and child development, I created an inspiring workbook for girls ages 7+ to – more... bolster their resiliency and help them to develop to their full potential. I use this workbook in art settings and have watched chidren stumble and overcome obstacles. The hardest part of the job for me is the labor: standing, carrying. The most enjoyable part of the job is engaging in arts with the children and watching them have fun. – less

Independent contractor -Live in Nanny (Former Employee), san diego caMarch 13, 2014
Pros: kids brightening my day
Cons: coping with pet as a puppy
a typical day required waking up with kids i was caretaker for; making breakfast, getting them ready for school, taking them to wherever they needed to be on time. returning home and cleaning household, preparing dinner for entire family for the evening, making sure kids rooms were tidy and the house was well kept. walking family pet, doing grocery – more... shopping, running any other miscellaneous errands asked of me from parental caretaker. hardest part of the job was having to leave due to school. Most enjoyable part of job was creating a relationship with a family i dearly respect and care for. – less

Exciting place to work where there's always something new
Private Investigator Certification (Current Employee), Snoqualmie WaSeptember 30, 2013
Pros: free lunch, good benefits
Cons: short staffing
Everyday has something happen that is different or unique. I've learned that no matter how many times you respond to an incident, that every situation and everyone you contact, is truely different. I work with a great team and we get along well. Short staffing is always a problem, but it's a great enviroment with exciting people to work with.

In job Corps
Medical Administrative Assistant (Former Employee), Callicoon, NYAugust 6, 2013
Pros: we had free lunch. allowences that was $25.00 every 2weeks
Cons: living allowance, soical sercurity, and tax
In Job Corps we have to have good communitcation skills and work ethics empolyablity skills. Our mangers where out trade intrcutors that gave us task to work on and if you didnt pass it you wouldn't get the 10% marked off your tar. When you first reach in Job Corps they put you in a CPP 1,2,3 and 4 . you write down the goals you have for your self what – more... you want to do when you finish ?, how are you going to get their ? how long are you willing to take? I picked 7 months i got out of trade in 5 months and finished my high school diploma in 2 months. I also manged my time management skills. It would be alot of drama but that is part of a good thing because how you going to work with somebody you don't get along with, ee we we sleep together so it was kind of hard at first but i got used to it. Very few conflicts happend with me here then i learned how too obtain it. – less
