With the Universal Agent Suite Framework and the SIF Agent Modules, data can be extracted from a variety of applications in the district. That data is converted into a format that meets the current SIF specifications, and placed into an Operational Data Store (ODS) running on MS-SQL, for further action. Next, the Universal Agent sends the data to the SIF-Connect Server, a Zone Integration Server (ZIS). The ZIS analyzes the data it receives and determines where the data should be sent, and routes it accordingly. Thus, other applications at the district can receive the data they require. Since the data is already collected in an Operational Data Store, it is a natural extension for the ODS to move into the dynamic, SIF Certified SIF-Connect Data Warehouse, where Decision Support tools can be used to help with Data Driven Decision Making. The Data Driven Decision Making tools supplied by our partner, Enterprise Computing Services (ECS), are very dynamic, easy to use, and robust.
