A good company to work for, the support department is one of the last priorities
Enterprise Support Engineer II (Former Employee) – Boise, ID – April 15, 2017
The benefits are great and the company holds events and party's after work. Management needs to improve as well as delegated tasks and expectations. Compensation needs to improve based on the requirements of the job. More is added to your plate as the company continues to go through growing pains and understanding the needs of the department. Needs to help even the work load and remove tasks that should be completely by an entirely different team.
Cradlepoint puts a lot of effort into looking like a "cool place to work", but looks are deceiving.
Enterprise Support Engineer (Former Employee) – Boise, ID – May 17, 2017
Things at Cradlepoint look great from the outside, lots of fun BBQs and work functions. But that isn't everything that makes a job a GOOD job. The benefits are good but crazy expensive. The pay is so far below par that it's appalling. Management is extremely lacking. If you search for jobs and always see a Support Engineer job listed, it should make you wonder. They get paid poorly and treated worse.
Fun work functions, good work/life balance
appalling pay for support side, shady management, cutthroat environment
Account Manager / Solutions Engineer (Former Employee) – Boise, ID – September 19, 2016
Great place to work. Great benefits. Good pay. Leads come in often. This will help you advance your IT background. Management is a little micro and it can be difficult if your placed in a hard area to sell into.
Enterprise Support Engineer 3 (Former Employee) – Boise, ID – January 25, 2016
Cradlepoint has good potential to become a contender in the networking industry and are making inroads to do so, however as they grow they are experiencing the growing pains of transitioning from a startup to a corporation.
