Adjunct Faculty (Current Employee) – Yucaipa, CA – January 20, 2018
Crafton Hills College is an exceptional workplace. It is organized, supportive, and professional. The English Department is well run and collaborative. However, working as adjunct faculty, at any college, is difficult. The hours are sometimes inconvenient, the commute is often long, and there are no benefits packages.
Great campus to work on, beautiful grounds that look like a regional park. Most of the people I work with are awesome.
Customer Service Representative, pbx operator (Current Employee) – Yucaipa, CA – September 29, 2017
My typical day at work is making sure that all incoming calls get answered in a timely manner. Directing students to various departments. Assign parking permit to staff and guest and vendors. Informing department managers when their appointments arrive. Assisting other departments when help is needed. Crafton Hills College is a great place to work and advance on this campus as well as our other college campus called San Bernardino Valley College.
going against traffic, great work schedule, wonderful workers, great benefits, interact with students
No pay increases after you reach a pay scale. Evaluations happens only twice a year or not at all.

Technology Support Specialist (Current Employee) – Yucaipa, CA – May 23, 2017
This can be a very rewarding place to work. That being said, it is like most educational institutions. The positions are controlled by a union and so advancement is very difficult and based on seniority. That being said, it is also very secure; it is next to impossible to be terminated. There is plenty of opportunity to develop new skills.
Adjunct Instructor (Former Employee) – Yucaipa, CA – December 29, 2016
This place is not very friendly if you are from a minority group. The staff is not very friendly and directors may not treat you the same way. Educational policies are also very controversial as the supervisors may want to impose their own way of doing things.
Practicum Trainee (Current Employee) – Yucaipa, CA – December 14, 2014
I see approximately 8 to 10 clients/students for psychotherapy per day. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. I enjoy what I do and am following my passion in life. I have enjoyed working with the staff and the clients/students and have been honored by both to become a part of their lives.
