Substitute Teacher, Cranford, NJ - September 8, 2015
A typical day at school would be filling in for a teacher who was out for the day. Most of the kids knew me, so it was easy filling in for the teacher. The teacher would leave lesson plans on her/his desk which I would follow. The hardest part of the day was in the afternoon. Most of the kids were tired after lunch. I had to get their attention back to work. We would play games to get their minds back to their subjects we were learning that day. The staff at the school was very helpful. They were always willing to help me out, if I had a question. I loved working with the younger children. They had so much energy and they loved to learn new subjects/ideas. There was never a dull moment during the day.
