The hospital provides a broad spectrum of clinical services involving ten programs: general – more... medicine, surgery, renal, oncology/radiation therapy, emergency, mental health, continuing care/rehabilitation, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics and cardiac services.

The Credit Valley Hospital is currently operating 390 beds. The hospital's regional catchment area serves close to one million patients. Currently, the hospital employs approximately 2,800 staff and 403 physicians have privileges at Credit Valley. The hospital is 816,000 square feet including The Carlo Fidani Peel Regional Cancer Centre and The Ambulatory Care Centre.
In 2008, the hospital will begin construction on an additional 275,000 square feet of space for palliative and complex continuing care as well as a regional maternal child centre. Bed capacity will be increased from 392 to 471 (with additional room for growth) which will have a significant impact on the hospital's ability to move patients through the emergency department to an inpatient bed.
