Pros: feeling of making a difference when you can
Cons: compensation, lack of funds to adequately run the organization, poorly managed board.
Very needed work in the 21st century with so many cases of self harm, especially in densly populated metro areas. The hardest part of any job dealing with suicide and depression is taking the job home with you and not feeling if you've done enough. The most enjoyable part of the is feedback when you did make a difference.
