Description: Entry level position in urban wildlife control. Residential and commercial wildlife damage control and nuisance wildlife trapping. Inspection of properties for wildlife and rodent damage offering solutions to the problem. Maintain service accounts which include inspections, setting of live or lethal traps, baiting for rodents, working at roof top levels and on chimneys. Friendly environment, with training and uniforms provided.

Qualifications: Educational OR work related background in wildlife management or employment experience in a service related business. We prefer someone with at least an associate’s degree in wildlife management, biology, zoology, or a related field but will entertain the unique individual with knowledge or interest in wildlife and home construction. Must be physically fit and able to work at chimney tops and roof heights and lift 70 pounds overhead. Knowledge or experience in soffit or roofing work is a definite plus. Must be able to handle and euthanize wild animals when necessary. Trapping experience a plus but complete training is provided. You will need good communication skills and a take charge attitude as, on a daily basis, this position requires communicating with and relating to customers to assure them we can and will resolve their problems. Good driving record is essential as is maturity and ability to work without immediate supervision.

Compensation: Hourly wage while training. Commissions plus guaranteed minimum salary when qualified. A personable, qualified, trained wildlife specialist with some construction experience and interest in wildlife can average $45,000 to $65,000 or more a year.
