Certain departments have more fun and get better recognition than others
Technical Support Specialist (Current Employee) –  City of Sunrise, FLOctober 12, 2017
Upper management/executives make unrealistic goals for certain departments to meet and they really don't understand the processes and legwork that is needed to meet their expectations. They value quantity over quality.
Pros
Good benefits.
Cons
No work/family balance.

Must be disciplined. Fast learning. When hours are up you will have plenty of time to make money. Must stay alert to polices and procedure. Will be monitored

decent place towork
A/R Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Fort Lauderdale, FLOctober 9, 2017
Not a bad place to work, as a matter of fact the workplace culture is sort of detrimental to your career because it's so comfortable. If warranties and sales retention are your thing then you may have a chance to advance but since it wasn't mine I hade to look elsewhere.
Pros
unecessary perks
Cons
short linch and breaks

Call Center Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Anderson, SCSeptember 18, 2017
Benefits are actual very good there except for the medical benefits, they need some major overhaul.
My biggest issue with this company is that the left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing so everything from the training to the current procedures are all on a "who you ask" basis.
Everyone in the building is constantly sick with some kind of virus and it spreads to everyone and after you use the 5 sick days they give you they will definable hold your absence against you even with a doctors note from the virus that is being spread there. Nobody wants to miss work so they bring their sicknesses and share.
Very stressful place to work. Not only do you have to take abuse from customers but their unrealistic expectation of call times, leaves the employee feeling like they cant catch a break. Overloaded employees feeling very unappreciated.
Pros
Over priced "store" in the break room. Several fast food places and stores are nearby.
Cons
health care expensive and benefits are not as great as other companies. terrible parking.

Horrible leadership
Manager (Former Employee) –  City of Sunrise, FLSeptember 18, 2017
Executive leadership talk a great game, but they don't deliver on their promises. They quickly pick their favorites, who can "do no wrong;" however, those that truly go above and beyond to produce can "never do enough." The rare pats on the back are always followed with a "but." Priorities don't make sense, and unreasonable deadlines are always pushed, regardless of the guidance and suggestions you provide. The concept of work/life balance is non-existent, as you're expected to be available 24 hours a day.
Pros
Pay was not bad; had a great manager that was flexible
Cons
Stressful work environment; rude and condescending executive leadership; thankless job

Data Entry (Current Employee) –  City of Sunrise, FLSeptember 2, 2017
Typical day working at Cross Country Home Services , little to no supervision . The day consists of a lot of Data Entry and Invoice Processing . The hardest part about working for Cross Country is the extended work hours to meet a deadline . The most enjoyable is company functions .

Good place to work for some, not for all.
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Anderson, SCAugust 31, 2017
I had good times and bad times at CCHS. Great people to work with, though sometimes the "gossip culture" was tough to handle. Also, considering the line of work (supplementary insurance) customers were hard to deal with in some instances. Would recommend for anyone with a steely disposition and communicative skills. Not recommended for those who cannot handle a fast paced environment or those who cannot handle criticism.
Pros
Good benefits and compensation
Cons
"gossip culture" ;difficult customers

Very Stressful Call Center Job
Call Center Representative (Current Employee) –  Greenville, SCAugust 10, 2017
This job requires patience. You are dealing with most homeowners who have purchased a product without the proper product knowledge and it is high call volume.

I haven't had any problems so far. The people who work here are nice but the people at the Director Level should get more leadership training. Despite the brilliant people that work here, they are constantly disempowering everyone.

Customer Service Associate II (Former Employee) –  Anderson, SCJuly 28, 2017
Great people to work with as long as you don't concern yourself with drama from other people.

Room for advancement if you apply yourself. Some of the Supervisors need to learn to communicate with their team better.
Pros
Great people to work with
Cons
Too many changes on a daily basis on policy and procedure.

Work At CCHS is Not for Everyone
Claims Initiator (Former Employee) –  Work from homeJuly 12, 2017
This job was promising at first and offered lots of diversity and challenge. However, there was zero coaching once out of training, though there was promised to be constant access. Quickly myself and almost everyone in my class were booted out. A waste of my money and my time.

Nice environment, but lackof management
SNAD Enhancement Dispatch Coordinator (Current Employee) –  Anderson, SCJune 12, 2017
The people are nice and supportive; however, management seems to not know what is going on. They want more productivity, while taking resources and demanding over time, even though they consider it "voluntary" because employees get to choose the overtime hours. It is difficult to request and be approved for time off.
Pros
paid time off when can get approved
Cons
insurance is high-cost with little coverage

Case Management (Former Employee) –  Anderson, SCMay 25, 2017
when i entered this company this was my first call center job. I went in nervous but gained the understanding and excelled. Within a few months at customer service level I was able to advance to a position under the office of the president.
The work enviornment is cool/laid back with people who are just regular people. However advancements aren't easily achieved, bonuses were based on a too high range to obtain.
I learned to use computer programs and phone log in systems, and all things that tie in with a job of this nature.
Customer service was much more attainable, however other positions were often too stressful and hard work went unnoticed.

I enjoyed the most interacting with the customer's and the work family.
Pros
random appreciation

Not a good place to work . Turnover rate very high
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Anderson, SCMay 9, 2017
It is a very good place to work if you can deal with people's mouth. Every call you get is a complaint about something being broken in their home or techs didn't do something right . ONLY WORK THERE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AN ATTITUDE.
Pros
Free food & coffee

also to provide them with the final resolution on the claims

To make sure that all our vendors are also attend to, by making sure their invoices are updated in our database and reach to the appropriate department (A/P) for the invoices to be process for payments.
Pros
the benefits, some job security, and not much micro management
Cons
Not much room to grow in the company, and the raises are very low
