Crossroads Animal Hospital is an innovative small animal hospital opened by Doctors Harry Fyke, Kathy Kvam and Whitney Rayner. We provide quality health care for companion animals in Oxford and the surrounding areas. Crossroads Animal Hospital offers progressive, state-of -the-art medical care, surgery and dentistry for small animals with emphasis on health maintenance, disease prevention, diagnostics and client education. We also offer boarding, grooming and emergency services.
Our responsibilities extend not only to providing exemplary medical care to our patients, but also to ensuring that pet owners are equipped with complete and accurate information regarding their pets' condition and care. We are dedicated to fulfilling these responsibilities with compassion and understanding for the needs of animals and their owners. To realize these goals, the doctors and the staff of Crossroads Animal Hospital adhere to the following principles:
Competence - We desire to earn and deserve the trust of our clients by practicing, with competence, the highest level of medicine of which we are capable. We will continue to introduce new technologies to expand the options available to meet the demands of a sophisticated clientele.
Compassion - Providing compassion for our patients and clients and being empathetic to their needs is paramount to our view of our profession.
Cleanliness - Working with animals can be a dirty job. Providing a clean work environment for our clients and staff and for the comfort of our patients is vital, not only for aesthetic reasons, but to prevent the spread of possible disease causing agents.
Communication - Communication with clients, between doctors, and with staff members is key to operating successfully. Our clients and staff must have clear understandings of what they can expect from us and what we, in turn, expect from them. Well-documented medical records, client discharge notes, and complete employee manuals confirm that vital communication links exist.
Convenience - We provide efficient, easily-accessible and convenient animal care with office hours that accommodate our clients schedules and services that meet their needs, but without compromise to the quality of care.
Commitment - We are dedicated to our profession and to our community. We must be committed to providing excellent animal care, while at the same time, being committed to running a profitable business.
Continuing education - In order to continue providing quality health care, the doctors at Crossroads Animal Hospital keep up with changes in our profession.
Client education - We firmly believe that we are here to inform, instruct and guide our clients so that they may become better pet owners and that their pets live longer, healthier and happier lives. It is not enough just to answer their questions; we identify the questions that need to be answered. As in any profession, we should be and are aggressive advocates in acting in the best interest of the animals we serve and the people who rely on our opinions and skills.
The confidence of our clients and the trust of our patients is the cornerstone of our success. We welcome new patients and look forward to continuing to provide our existing clientele with the quality veterinary care they have come to expect. – less–ZoomInfo
