The sick leave is called PTO= paid time off; Aides are required to find some one to cover their shift if they are going to be absent from work for any reason, even on their scheduled days off--should the supervisor decided the Aide is needed for work on his/her scheduled day off and if the Aide is planning something on their scheduled day off--they must submit a leave request and have it approved, and if the supervisor decides that Aide needs to work that day they must find someone to cover that shift even though they were scheduled to be off and have approved leave.
