Accountant / Bookkeeper
Oakwood Village, OH - near Cleveland
We are seeking an Full Charge Accountant / Bookkeeper; responsibilities include:

~Take lead on processing A/P, A/R and Payroll
~Full cycle A/P including attaching purchases orders to invoice, inputting invoices, check runs and communication with vendors
~Responsible to file cat tax, use tax, sales tax
~Investigates and resolves discrepancies as it relates to payments or credits
~Monitor and reconcile the general ledger including bank reconciliations
~Responsible for month end and year end closings as well as providing accurate and timely financials to management and outside CPA firm
~Wide range of administrative & other accounting duties to support management team as directed
~Working understanding of the basic of accounting, reconciliations and other accounting/finance functions

The ideal candidate will have an Associates degree or equivalent experience. At least 6 years experience in a full charge bookkeeping role is required. Strong communication skills and excellent work habits with a great attitude are a must. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel / Word / Outlook), and QuickBooks or equivalent accounting software. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Must be detail oriented.
