Good place to work and learn
Field Service Technician (Current Employee) – Richmond, VA – May 18, 2017
Field Service Tech's days are spent PMing trucks or running service calls. Travel can be a bit much, but largely left alone as long as things are getting done. Very good upfront training and annual training in various aspects of truck repair. Service vans kept in good repair. Tools are your own responsibility and an extensive collection is needed, but they have an interest free tool loan program to help you get started. Overtime is plentiful. Great place for a younger person to get in and grow. Opportunities to move and advance. Very safety oriented. Safety violations are one of the easiest ways to get fired, but they do provide equipment, training, and time to do things right.
Training, tool loan program, regular pay raises
Heavy work, long hours, difficult customers at times.
