Patient Care Tech (Current Employee), Chester Pa – April 6, 2013
Pros: pay is great
Cons: everything about the place is a con!
I'm currently employed at CCMC and the place is horrible management sucks, staffing is horrible, soon as I think I have a somewhat set schedule it changes and throw off my baby sitting schedule, and you never know when another lay off is coming. I'm currently looking for employment elsewhere because you never know when your time is up!!
I am a former employee and agree with the others....stay away. There are few real managers. the few that are there, got there due to being friends with someone....no one is promoted based on qualifications....just who they know. That is in many places, but I saw people let go to bring in the useless people's friends! SR. management doesn't care...and – more... when you tell them, they target you.
Managment has ZERO people skills, no management training. HORRIBLE – less
Allied Health (Current Employee), CCMC – February 4, 2013
Cons: everything else that matters
Still currently employed here. Looking to leave, the right way ASAP!! The pay difference isn't worth the disrespect by management. They understaff, don't provide proper resources to perform your job properly. Then when mistakes are made they come after you! Protect your licenses! For those of us still here we Hope the network gets sold. There's been – more... corruption and thievery at the highest level they try to sweep under the rug. I'm grateful to have a job, but the way people are treated here is rediculous. – less
Student nurse care associate (Former Employee), Upland, PA – September 9, 2012
There was no opportunity for advancement in the Crozer system. I was hired as a nurse extern and was told I would be offered a RN position after one year of employment, and two years later I was still an extern. I entered the system as an extern and left as an extern.
Good patient care due to a excellent nursing staff
Assistant Clinical Director (Former Employee), Taylor Hospital Ridley Park Pa. – April 21, 2012
Pros: good staff excellent nursing care
Cons: non caring abysmal administration
Taylor hospital recruited me from my prior position and offered me the job as ADON. They knew that they were experiencing financial difficulties and a mass lay off of staff was a very real possibility and they failed to advise me of that fact during the interview process. I left a secure position where I had done very well to accept the job offered – more... by Taylor Keystone-Health system. I was laid off 5 months later – less
