Load Planner (Former Employee) –  Peoria, ILSeptember 18, 2017
My last mgr was an incompetent bozo, she gave no support to team, unless you were on her good list. Dispatchers use drugs on the job, drivers are not held accountable for their actions. Horrible place to work! Too many complaints to list, and not worth my time.
Pros
Decent pay, good health benefits
Cons
Too many to list.

They are a good company to get started driving experience with. You have to trust your co-driver, cause when you are sleeping he or she is driving. That was a down fall with me.

Truck Driver (Former Employee) –  Cedar Rapids, IAOctober 14, 2014
Work was never consistent, if you didn't have a co driver they cut your pay to .21 per mile and didn't give you miles besides. Was treated badly by male co drivers and was physically assaulted by last co driver.
Pros
Had a job
Cons
Had to rely on having a co driver to make any money

Commercial Driver/ Transportation (Former Employee) –  Cedar Rapids, IAMarch 15, 2014
I have worked with CRST twice. Once as Expedited and once as dedicated. Dedicated is a completetey different experience than Expedited. In Dedicated we ran a route weekly from Spokane,WA to the outskirts of Chicago. BEAUTIFUL scenery and incredible miles with absolutely no traffic.

PROS:
-Great Routes
-Plenty of work
-Awesome Co Workers
-Much better than Expedited
-Great Dispatch
-Personal Cash Advances
-Safe Equipment
-Quick and plentiful sign on bonus received

CONS:
-Horrifying pay (.32 CPM split!)
-No direct Deposit
-Staff is over burdened
-Reimbursements never get paid back to the drivers
-Terrible Trailers on these dedicted Routes
-HEAVY LOADS
-Poor Training
