Pros: long lunches as well as a relaxed work environment.
Cons: business was slow many days.

Worked with customers, little to no room for advancement
Teller (Current Employee), Kearny, NJSeptember 11, 2014
A typical day consists of handling numerous varieties of customer transactions and providing customer service to those who have questions about their financial information. The upper management seems to be rather aloof and disorganized at times. The health benefits are great but the pay is poor at best. There is little to no advancement and job descriptions – more... are often combined so that the company would not have to pay a salary increase if someone changed position. – less

Hard working people, lot of drama, manager problems,
Menards Hardware Team Member (Former Employee), Avon, INSeptember 8, 2014
Pros: some employees and customers. decent pay
Cons: drama and managers
A typical day at Menards was not realistic. Each day changed for better or worse. You could get lucky and just deal with customers and take care of your duties. Then, there were days were employees were too focused on there drama and ridiculous judgements that it was hard to keep focus, let alone my mouth shut. Managers were very rude no matter how – more... nice you were and general management changed as soon as i was hired. From that point the store has taken a big fall in gains and a rise in emoployment disersion. – less

Great positive work environment
customer service Rep (Former Employee), Hayward, CASeptember 7, 2014
Pros: free snacks, coffee, tea
Cons: short breaks
Answered phones, emails, letters and faxes on a daily basis. Learned how to organize and store files of customers into the system and into paper files. My co-workers were all friendly and respectable people. Everyone was reliable, including myself. The hardest part of the job was sending payment confirmations with certain customers who chose a specific – more... insurance group we offered, process was a lot more detailed. The most enjoyable part was having solved a problem for a customer and made them satisfied with our customer service. – less

Productive workplace
Agent (Former Employee), Las Cruces, NMSeptember 5, 2014
Pros: good hours, good pay
Cons: short breaks
A day at work consisted of going in at six in the morning and ending my work shift at 2 p.m. I learned how customer service works and how to talk to customers efficiently while handling general inquiries. The co-workers were very friendly and it was a diverse workplace which made it fun. The hardest part of the job was having to deal with angry customers – more... and the most enjoyable part of the job was successfully helping customers. – less
