Work hard - but have fun
CCO (Current Employee) –  Detroit, MIMarch 24, 2016
Be ready to work hard and be held accountable. If this isn't for you then this isn't the place for you. The team, company benefits and environment are amazing. Onsite Starbucks with free drinks, onsite gym and ongoing craziness that keeps your day fun.

Great place to learn a lot and contribute!

Great perks, low morale
not specified (Former Employee) –  Livonia, MIAugust 18, 2015
While the benefits and perks are great here (free Starbucks, small gym, free lunch 2 days a week, free soda), they mask underlying issues at the company.

The regular employees work hard and there's a camaraderie that makes each day worthwhile. However, management is clueless. There's a huge void between management and their employees, a major "us vs. them" mentality that shows no sign of being repaired.

The work/life balance is excellent, which is what kept me there for so long. As well as my coworkers. But don't expect much loyalty from those above you.
Pros
Good perks like free Starbucks and free lunch twice a week.
Cons
Clueless management that focus on the wrong things.

Overworked and poor management
Marketing (Former Employee) –  LivoniaMay 14, 2015
CU solutions group is part of the Michigan Credit Union League. Employees are constantly overworked and scrutinized and very rarely praised for their work. Their management and executive team lacks skills to effectively manage employees.
If you get a job here, don't plan on being there any longer than 2 to 4 years. It is not a career company. It is a steppingstone until something bigger and better comes along.
There is extremely high turnover rate and there are constantly new people coming into the company. If they would just treat the employees they had better maybe people would stay around longer.
This is not a company that provides a good worklife balance.
Pros
Decent pay
Cons
Your ideas are not valued and hard work is not appreciated
