You get 3 paid holidays... Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years..thats it..You would think they would give the 4th of July celebrating Independence..Nope.. but, they are closed for Easter of course without pay..UNLESS your in corporate they get several more days a year off and they do not work weekends. ....
The paid holidays work like this: the property is open on most "minor" holidays but an extra 8 hours get added to your paycheck. They try to make you take an extra day off to make that 8 hours up, but legally they can't MAKE you since the business is open on the actual holiday.
