Of course, we want you to know that CUE provides solo exhibitions and residencies for under-recognized visual artists. We want to tell you about our education programs for artists and students, and we definitely want you to discover our public performances and events. But more than anything, we want you to visit CUE and have a one-of-a-kind experience of your very own.
CUE's place in New York's non-profit arts community is possible because of our community of founders, supporters, partners and audiences who have helped us grow exponentially in five short years. Since 2003, we have achieved several notable milestones:
52 under-recognized artists and collectives have had solo exhibitions at CUE.
52 artists, writers and curators have selected those artists for CUE's solo exhibitions.
85 Joan Mitchell Foundation MFA Grant recipients have exhibited at CUE.
20 artists have produced work in CUE's studio residency space.
480 public school students have participated in internships and CUE's arts education programs.
15 young art critics have written essays for CUE's exhibitions.
200,000+ people have visited CUE's Chelsea storefront venue.
200,000+ Internet users have visited the CUE website.
3,000+ artists have attended 53 professional development workshops at CUE.
75 artists have read, performed and spoken for more than 1,000 attendees at 39 words + music readings and performances. – less–ZoomInfo
