Assembler
Assembler (Former Employee) –  wisconsinSeptember 1, 2015
Assemble primary and backup generation equipment, fire pump engines, and OEM engines. The assembly of these units consist of assembly of engine, generator, electrical control panel, plumbing of the unit to the radiator, and the installation of wire harnesses to operate the unit. This includes the computer installation of the engine calibration for operation of the engine to the installation of the after treatment for customer installation. Worked daily with the engineers on assembly prints to discuss design changes on existing units and proto type assemblies. My priorities are Safety, Quality, and Production on every job.

Frustrating place to work if you want to make a difference.
Manager, Upfit center. (Current Employee) –  De Pere, WIJune 14, 2014
NPower is a very successful company with a few very good key Managers at corporate that are responsible for its success, mostly the Principle and CFO.

The culture at the Upfit Center in De Pere is toxic. There is a sense of entitlement, and all that the corporate HR department has done is coddle them by forming teambuilding teams that focus on asking them what kind of behavior they would like to see out of their managers.

They may as well set up a day care for the employees because they are fostering a culture without any accountability whatsoever. Many people spend more time and effort railroading others than they do focusing on their job.
Pros
good 401k. relatively safe environment to work in.
Cons
everything else.

Power Generation Field Service Technician (Former Employee) –  White Bear Lake, MNJuly 1, 2012
Cummins is a Well Established Company. Still fresh in Power Generation sector so not very stable yet. Power Generation Training is not the best so advancement is kind of slow. There is alot of change over with middle management. They have all the great benefits and pay is decent.
Pros
good pay and benefits, well established company.
Cons
power generation is new to this company so training is not very good, alot of change over in middle management.
