It's very stressful
Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Lynwood, CAOctober 16, 2017
Goals for the sales associate were outrageous. To the point that they would fight for customers. Management didn't care how you met the goals as long as you did. Favoritism was a problem between management but it was always swept under the carpet.
Pros
flexible hours
Cons
you're always a part-time working 35 hours

Team Lead (Former Employee) –  San Bernardino, CAOctober 6, 2017
A typical day consisted of opening register, getting the displays ready for the customers, making sure all your merchandise is accounted for, and being ready to assist customers. It also consists of being able to unpack pallets of new merchandise meanwhile taking care of the floor. Putting the merchandise on a clean display where they belong or making room for it. It also involves having customers apply for credit and always making the displays more attractive. It is a competitive environment but at the same time a team effort. The hardest part of the job would be dealing with customers who simply want you to bend over backwards to give them a discount you simply can not give. The hardest part of this job is knowing you didn't wake up on the right side of the bed and still putting on a great attitude with the customers. The most enjoyable part is meeting new people and being able to help customers find that item they were looking for and seeing them leave more then satisfied with your help.

one hour lunches

Cashier (Current Employee) –  Phoenix, AZAugust 22, 2017
It's a nice place to start but there is no future. They treat you like family and care, but they can be like a normal family and favor, and that is not ok

This is a place where there lacks a lot of discipline and knowledge by management and supervisor level positions. There needs to be more HR training for upper management.

Decent Starter Job
Sales Associate (Current Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAAugust 7, 2017
Not much a future for people looking for career advancement. You'd be competing with people that have been there over a decade, or people from the outside that are more qualified. If you're looking for something short term (1-2 years), it's a good spot to learn and build your resume.

Coworkers are usually pretty cool, but I don't believe people are given the respect they deserve from the people running the company.

Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Phoenix, AZJune 22, 2017
the environment was good here , it was like one big family , everyone greeted each other , hand shakes & hugs , employees always got recognition here which I loved , over all rating was a 3 because the pay was bad compared to a lot of sales jobs & they didn't have very good benefits , which I believe that's the most important , workers take care of your company , the company need to take care of their workers.
Pros
upbeat enviornment
Cons
low pay

Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Anaheim, CAJune 20, 2017
Depending on what department you're in you can either be smooth sailing or constantly stressed out to meet sales quotes. Management consists of favoritism, type of company if you put in your time you'll get to a higher position. Do not expect them to bump your pay

Look for something better.
They dont train.
They are not organized as well.
They also don't pay or are always understaffed due to pay and the amount of work they give you.
They Always make promises but never follow through.

Cashier Leader (Former Employee) –  Tucson, AZApril 26, 2017
This job gave me allot of confidence. It was a restaurant in the mornings and at night it would turn into a Night Club. So I worked in the night. There's was alot of violence at night because of the customers didn't know how to control their liqueur but overall it was fun bringing singers to sing there and our tips were amazing. :)
Pros
Was Fun
Cons
Went to College and left that environment.
