The amount of hours expected is unreasonable. They expect you to see 8-9 patients/day with each visit in the home being a minimum of 30 min. Doing this in 8 hrs is impossible, but that's all you get paid for. You will work 10+ hrs per day on a regular basis. Then there is call.

Your a salaried employee so they can work you as many hours as needed. I have worked in a week 90 plus hours with call. You only get a certain amount to be on no matter how many hours you work. I've figured it up before and I have on occasion made less than minimal wage. They will offer you a day off to compensate but then who is going to see your patients. I went and worked for another hospice and you got paid your hourly rate for any calls you went out to at night.

You work from 8 to 5pm as a salaried RN and then take admissions and work till midnight and dont get paid for that time. And don't expect notice for these admissions even though management knows about them at least a day in advance. You find out after putting in your 9 hour day.

I was a Director of Ops...Given the job because everyone else quit! I had zero training! Had to hire MSW, Chaplain and Nurses on my own. I took 2 computers and 2 cell phones while on vacation. NO TIME OFF EVER! POOR BENEFITS! Curl does not value continuing Ed or pay well! I make $23000 more noe as a staff nurse and I go home at the end of my shift to my family without constant calls! POOR work environment! Screamed at by one of my administrators as a staff nurse then promoted???

Think the previous people answered it but expect to work 50-60 and be paid for 40. That's not including the on call sleepless nights at 2.00 an hour

Horrific. They make millions off your salaried position which requires 60 to 80 hours per week plus call. Expect to work til you drop but have no insurance to go to the dr.

Unrealistic. 60+ hours when fully staffed (which is rare due to very high staff turnover). If you somehow manage to catch up early (unlikely), additional work will be given. On call weekends work 63 hours straight, no week day off to compensate.

Expect to work at a minimum 60h+. Worst place I have ever worked. The only people who like it are the supervisors who don't help at all.
