A typical day at work consists of prepping meals, making sure the condiments are ready and fresh, and cleaning. Also depending on how many soldiers are on base you can serve up to 600 soldiers! If your on dish duty it is best to be fast paced or you will fall behind.....way behind. I learned to work fast and to be precise at the same time. The co- workers are quick to answer questions and help as much as they can. The hardest part of the job is normally your first day IF you're on dish duty. This is not like dish washing at a restaurant. The most enjoyable part of the job is being thanked by the soldiers for making their food and making their dinner.
