CyberGlove Systems is a Silicon Valley-based designer and manufacturer of high-end data gloves used in the motion capture, simulation and training, medical, defense, automotive and virtual reality markets.

The company seeks a high-energy, self-starting senior technician to assist them in meeting the growing demand for their products. The senior technician will play an integral role in the manufacturing process as well as the further development of the existing CyberGlove product portfolio. - Implementing manufacturing procedures to optimize processes
- Providing hands-on assembly of systems (working with PCB boards and board level components, soldering, calibration)
- Developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process
- Assuming lead role in addressing technical issues in manufacturing
- Supporting the test group during trouble shooting to identify and resolve issues
- Reviewing existing operations and process discrepancies and provides technical expertise to improve procedures
- Determining and instituting best practices
- Documenting procedures and test methods
- Writing applicable policies to document and imbed best practices throughout manufacturing
- Collaborating with engineers to determine solutions and fixes
- Participating in team meetings to report on project status and offer recommendations to solve open issues


- Adaptability to work in a demanding fast paced environment
- Comfortable performing multiple tasks along with the flexibility to respond to others’ requests
- Able to execute from verbal direction and requests in collaboration with engineering staff members
- Exhibit excellent organizational skills and leadership qualities to provide guidance, training and instructions to others
- Display excellent oral and written communications skills to interface with colleagues, suppliers and customers on business and technical matters
- Proficiency basic computer programs (MS Office)
- Ability to read and understand bills of materials, mechanical drawings, schematics, interconnect diagrams, flow diagrams and specifications
- CAD experience a plus


- 3-5 years of relevent work experience is desired
- A technical or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
