D.R. Horton, Inc. is a homebuilding company in the United States. The Company constructs and sells homes through its operating divisions in 27 states and 83 metropolitan markets of the United States, under the name of D.R. Horton, America’s Builder. The segments of the Company consist of seven homebuilding segments and a financial services segment. The financial services operations provide mortgage banking and title agency services to homebuyers in many of the homebuilding markets. DHI Mortgage, the wholly owned subsidiary provides mortgage financing services to the purchasers of the homes.
