DAVID Corporation is looking for an energetic, smart, and innovative IT professional with strong business acumen and solid technical skills to join our growing team. The IT Manager position is a key operational role that will be responsible for operating and managing both our internal and external IT infrastructure including our data centers.
As the IT Manager, you will be expected to partner with existing subject matter experts in technology architecture (network, storage, backup/recovery, virtualization, mobility, operating systems, etc.), provide thought leadership to technical strategy, including reviewing and analyzing current cloud architecture and its ability to support strategic objectives. You will collaborate with all levels of client and internal IT staff, while demonstrating the ability to establish rapport at all levels of the organization, and possess the ability to drive consensus. The position also requires multi-tasking and exposure to a variety of functions including in-depth troubleshooting, data analysis, bug tracking, software installations and upgrades, as well as development projects.

Manage, monitor and maintain all technology infrastructures to ensure system stability and high-performance outputs.
Operate and maintain DAVID Public Cloud networks.
Provide input on hardware and software improvements.
Develop and Implement Security controls required for SSAE16 compliance.
Identify opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new process / policies.
Work closely with our clients and our team to define, diagnose and resolve IT-related problems.
Maintain excellent lines of communication with team members and clients to keep them informed of active issues.
Capacity planning of network and server resources.
Develop and maintain documentation of system operating procedures.
Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation schedules.
Provide desktop and end user support, system administration and troubleshoot various IT issues.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALTIES
Expertise and solid understanding of SQL Server, SAN/NAS storage management, mobile solutions/technologies, server and client virtualization, network security, and Windows platforms.
Strong background with .NET architecture.
Ability to develop system concepts, logical architectures, solution options, and pros and cons of different options.
Ability to read and write scripts in various programming languages such as PowerShell.
Strong data analysis and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to cultivate a team atmosphere based on mutual respect, competence and hard work while also being able to work independently when needed.
Must be self-motivated, well organized, possess an attention to detail, able to work well under pressure, and complete projects within the established deadlines.
Display a high sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Ability to articulate solution options and build consensus on most plausible alternatives.
Motivated by the desire to make a difference in the business, to work with a highly talented set of peers, and to work on interesting projects.
*Experience in risk management and insurance industry.
*Experience with SAP Business Objects Reporting and Salesforce.com.
BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering or equivalent work experience required.
At least 8 years progressive experience in IT, with at least 3 of those years supporting cloud-based enterprise systems.
At least 5 years experience in technical support role or data center operations.
Has worked with all layers of Web-based applications (Database, Middleware and Presentation Layer).
Knowledge of MS technology stack, Windows Server technologies, Active Directory, Windows 7, Network Printing, security protocols, and SOC2 compliance.
