Assistant Deli/Bakery Department Manager
Supervise or assist the Department Manager in the supervision of associates in the Department. The selected individual is responsible for management of the Department or assisting the Department Manager with the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this department.
Other responsibilities include:
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and applicable laws
- Responsibilities may include interviewing and training associates
- Planning, assigning, and directing work; assist in appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems
- Maintaining all responsibilities with respect to all standards, sanitation standards and customer service, unloading trucks, heavy lifting
- Responsible constantly for direct customer requests and orders
Experience in the deli, bakery or restaurant department required.
