We are formulating topical transdermal pain cream compounds for the purpose of treating inflammatory and neuropathic pain conditions, i.e., musculoskeletal pain and inflammation, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, tendonitis, chemo induced neuropathy, general neuropathy, neuralgia, post herpetic neuralgia, shingles, myofascial pain syndrome, fibromyalgia, plantar fasciitis, etc.
Our topical compound medications provide an alternative to oral medications as a non-addictive modality and seek to avoid systemic side effects.
Many patients are unable to take oral medications due to gastrointestinal (stomach, liver, kidneys) issues, which can affect the patient’s quality of life and ability to work, think or drive.
The amount of medication required for transdermal delivery is typically much less than what is taken orally since it is targeted at the pain area and readily penetrates the skin.
Through specialized compounding techniques, this lower amount of medication allows the formulation to achieve high tissue specific concentrations for optimum pain relief outcomes and still maintain low blood serum levels so other body organs are largely unaffected.
In other words, the less medicine used, the less overall impact on the body, but the greatest impact at the point of pain.
We continue to build a strong national sales organization to market these customized pain compound formulations. Please visit our interactive website for more information.
