A typical day at work was full of hard work and minute to minute challenges. During my time within the company I was able to improve my management skills as well as learn a great deal about how to operate a successful company. We worked with a large group of workers that had responsibilities from freight handling to route structure and distribution – more... of customer product. The hardest part of the job would have been managing payroll and employee needs and the most enjoyable part of the job would have been the paid company vacations/trips awarded throughout the year. – less

Nice place to work. I have gained a great deal of experience there.

I really love what I do at my job. What I hate is that they don't let you balance work/life. Never get to spend time with my children and they really don't seem to care at all. Don't think its fair and you get corrective action for not being able to stay for mandatory OT. They really need to do some management changes. My typical day at work was on third shift, working roughly 5 hrs per night as an operations supervisor. I managed approximately 30-50 employees per night. Management was always good to me and there is definite advancement potential within the company.

A typical day at DHL was all drivers reported to work by 5:30 a.m., check in with our supervisor and started loading our own vans. By 9 a.m. we were out making our deliveries. I personal learned quit a bit of how to comminate with customers in stressful situation. All the people I worked with at DHL I personal got long with. It all depends on your manager and with a great manager it can be a wonderful opportunity. Really has changed the culture of the company and the opportunity for growth. Advancement is available if you are willing to relocate

Took calls for reservations, tracking packages and sent out supplies. Filled out claims for last packages while providing customer service.

good company to start with, but work expectancy is short. Company likes to frequently restructure and throws you out like today's trash. Good for a short time, but do not trust management, be very aware of what is going on. the company's line does not match it's bottom line intentions.
