De Mott, McChesney, Curtright & Armendáriz, LLP currently has an immediate opening for an experienced Bilingual Receptionist for a fast growing immigration law firm with offices in San Antonio, Austin and Houston. We are looking for a motivated and courteous individual that can handle a fast paced and high volume work environment in our San Antonio office.


  • Minimum education: High school diploma. Preferable: Associates Degree
  • One year of receptionist and or/office experience is expected
  • Bilingual: English & Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing)
  • Professional and presentable appearance
  • Clear FBI background check
  • Cash handling/Accounting experience


  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Data entry experience
  • Types 65 wpm’
  • Verbal and written communication ability
  • Customer service orientation and attention to detail
  • Multi-line phone system experience preferred
  • Team oriented to work well with others
  • Ability to prioritize and multi task, and meet deadlines
  • Cashier/Accounting experience


  • Handles multi-line phone system, transferring calls and/or taking messages
  • Communication with prospective and current clients
  • Filing and distribution of confidential information
  • File maintenance such as scanning, copying, and organizing documents
  • Receive and distribute dropped off documents as needed
  • Greets and directs clients to appropriate person
  • Schedules and coordinates appointments in immigration software
  • Monitors visitor access and maintains security awareness
  • Utilizes immigration software to update and extract information
  • Prepares correspondence and documents as needed
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
