Administrative Assistant
~ Organization Summary & Entry Level Job Description ~

Established in 1865, DWS Printing Associates, Inc. (“DWS”) is a 4th-generation family owned and operated printing & packaging company specializing in beverage, craft beer, food and household product labels. The company is based in Deer Park, New York and operates out of its sole 31,000 square foot facility. Tom Staib and Andy Staib are equal owners of the company and they currently employ 34 people on a f/t basis.

Contrary to many printing companies across the country that have suffered the impact of a contracting global economy, DWS is in an exciting growth mode, necessitating the need for additional players on “Team DWS”. Our recent multi-million dollar investment in a new Heidelberg 8/color UV printing press includes technology that is first-of-its-kind in the United States. This configuration was created exclusively for DWS, allowing us to deliver superior quality, more competitive pricing, and exceptionally fast turnaround.

Thanks to our ongoing commitment to reinvesting in today’s state-of-the-art technology, DWS has attracted clients ranging in size from small start-up entrepreneurial companies to major national organizations including Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Smucker Natural Foods, Apple & Eve Beverage Group and Nirvana Spring Water.
