Working with DD adults can be rewarding. I have been with the company for seven years and I amattached to my clients. Unfortunately the work is HARD and not for everyone. I also feel that (especialy at the house I work at) the employees are underpaid in compairison to the other companies out there.

Cons: short or no breaks
Great place to work. Learned a lot that has changed my way of thinking when it comes to people with disabilities. Great coworkers, but management is strict about adhering to schedule. Not much room to deviate from scheduled that you are hired for.

DCI is a wonderful place to work, they help people with physical and mental disabilities realize their potential by assisting them with their goals and increase independence. They also are focused on getting them out into the community and on activities.
