Operator (Current Employee) – Dallas, TX – July 25, 2017
I would recommend this employer because there is always room for advancement.A typical work day starts at 4 am and end 130 am. I have learned to really use time management in my daily schedule. The most enjoyable part of my job is meeting and interacting with the people because everyone has a story.
It was a very good company to work for. Your co workers were always will to help you and there was room for advancement. You could always pick up another shift and if you couldn't make it in to work one day then you could always get someone to take your shift if you let them know in advance.
You was able to eat lunch at the base free sometimes.
Your shift wasn't always over when it was supposed to be.

Great opportunity to advance. Good place to make long-life friends. Good hours and opportunity to change shifts if desired every 6 months. Hard part of job is staying put in one position with the great chance you get to advance.
Bus Operator (Former Employee) – 1401 Pacific Dallas, Tx 75201 – August 10, 2015
DART is great place to work, they gave me an opportunity to work many hours with great pay, uniforms and more. However the customers sometimes could be issues that we had to deal with but with control to keep calm and not to get in a argument the day went better! DART management worked closely with the operators and helped when they could but sometimes the DART POLICE got involved and they really helped in so many ways. There is alot of Bus operators covering bus routes , and i found it rewarding to be there on time to relief an operator as pocket schedule stated. In all it was great training for me! I have been in transportation most of my job career but this job was on safety skills and customer skills.
Bus Driver (Former Employee) – Dallas, TX – June 18, 2015
Job requires attention to detail, focus, concentration, strong customer service skills, and the ability to problem solve in a small time frame. Have to be able to deal with people on ALL LEVEL!! Company tends to stray from Federal and State regulated guidelines in order to promote its own agenda.

Bus Operator (Former Employee) – Dallas, TX – December 7, 2014
The management could have been more understanding of employees working conditions. The policies in place created resistance and objections to company's retention of employees. It was fun to work with the public, but avoiding management was my daily goal.
