Dane Street is a leading provider of Peer Review services to the Workers Compensation, Pharmacy, Disability, Auto and Group Health marketplaces.
We are seeking a special contributor to the Quality Management team to serve as a focal point for regulatory and compliance activities; including accreditation compliance.
The Regulatory and Compliance Director will drive the quality and operational initiatives to ensure processes and procedures meet business needs and are in full compliance with all State and Federal guidelines, company quality standards and meet accreditation standards.
Primary responsibilities include:
*Oversee and monitor implementation of regulatory and compliance related programs, in addition, to accreditations processes, including but not limited to the URAC re-accreditation
*Develop, coordinate and participate in education and training focusing on compliance of employees company-wide
*Coordinate internal compliance review and monitoring activities
*Report regularly to management and compliance committee on progress of implementation
*Initiate, facilitate and promote activities to foster information privacy awareness within organization
*Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal and state privacy laws, accreditation standards and monitors advancement in information privacy technologies to ensure organizational adaptation and compliance
The position reports to the Chief Medical Officer.
*10-15 years related experience and/or training preferred
*Experienced facilitator and leader with appropriate industry experience
*Working knowledge URAC and of all related State and Federal privacy and compliance regulations and guidelines
*Clinical background, prior experience with Peer Review, UR and/or Case Management
*National Workers Compensation claims and Utilization Review experience preferred
*Excellent communication skills, project management, critical thinking, ability to manage time efficiently and meet specific deadlines
