Horrible company
Service Technician (Current Employee) –  IllinoisApril 19, 2017
This company has a great product, but there overall company is sadly to say the opposite! They never give raises and if they do it's just small change. I've been with them 3 years and have only received 1! I never call in sick because there is no one to help do my work. Basically this place is just a job and if you do work for them DON'T STAY LONG!! MOVE ON QUICKLY!
Pros
Working on your own
Cons
To many to count!

Driver
CDL Driver (Former Employee) –  KentuckyFebruary 14, 2017
Nasty work but if you can get through that aspect of it's not bad. Its a good workout and as a driver you usually are left alone as long as the job gets done at the end of day.
Pros
Steady work, weekends off, good workout, nice starting pay
Cons
Nice starting pay but forget about a raise EVER, The smell of the plant and biohazzard, insurance is horrible.

Plant management consists of uneducated fools
Production Worker (Current Employee) –  Gadsden, ALJanuary 10, 2017
This plant has some serious ethical as well as management issues.Plant is disgusting, almost to the point of unsanitary. Plant manager doesn't even have a high school diploma, I almost guarantee it. It shows with customer complaints about how plant is being run as well as how employees are treated. Communication skills are less than what is acceptable from a leader. Daniels really should re evaluate who they put in charge of running an operation, maybe consider a background check. You expect so much from employees, yet give so little.Health benefits are outrageous, may as well not even offer them. The ONLY good point of my whole experience working there was my production co workers, most of whom hate the situation as well.
Pros
co workers
Cons
don't even know where to begin...less than qualified management, outrageous, health care costs

Lies All Across The Board!
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) –  Easton, PAJanuary 9, 2017
I worked for Daniels a year and from the moment they hired me, all they did was promise so much but never delivered. No raises, paid bi weekly. I would not recommend this job to anyone. They're real two faced. The health care is horrible. You would think since you service hospital they would have a better plan. 90 day review a lie, top pay after a year lie, lies, lies lies.

Terrible place to work
*wash smart operator, production (Current Employee) –  Shakopee, MNDecember 11, 2016
Management lies to the employees all of the time. No chance for advancement or a pay increase. Employees are taken advantage of as far as working hard and NEVER getting a raise. Some employees have worked for the company for years at the same rate of pay. This is a very unfair company to work for. DO NOT work for this company....EVER!!

Support Office (Current Employee) –  Chicago, ILSeptember 2, 2016
Management really cares about everyone personally which creates a "family-like" feel. Sometimes things can seem unorganized, but it's a fun loving chaos to work in. The people are truly the best part about working at Daniels and I see a bright future for the company.

Waste Management Specialist (Current Employee) –  Sturtevant, WIJuly 14, 2016
they say there is advancement and wage increases yet there are none, you are worked hard with little reward or appreciation where also safety/maintenance/preventative maintenance have never been heard of and when you ask for something that is needed for the job, be ready to wait a very, very long time if you ever receive it at all.

The challenges at Daniels Health are great. By utilizing the skills and knowledge of aseptic technique the company saves people on healthcare.

Production Associate (Former Employee) –  Shakopee, MNMay 17, 2016
Management in the Shakopee building are great very understanding willing to come out and help. Co-workers were mostly temps so they didn't stick around long, but all were very nice. The lifting is wearing on you when you're short.
Pros
Staff an co-worker were great. One big family.
Cons
Wages could be better for the hard word you do.

No management around to help in any problem you might encounter
Service Technician (Former Employee) –  Rancho Mirage, CAFebruary 19, 2016
They don't care about their employees only about themselves you work by yourself no manager no supervisor so if you encounter a problem they don't care to solve the problem they just fire the employee and get someone new I was only working 30 hours a week getting paid 13 and hour and the housekeepers their were saying I wasn't doing enough off course I wasn't the hospital is open 24 hours a day that's 168 hours in a week and I was only there for 30 OFF COURSE i was falling behind plus they don't give you all the tools you need to do your job.
Pros
That from this posting they raised the pay and the hours
Cons
No lunches no help they only care about themselves

Political Organization Lacking Clear Strategy and Leadership
finance (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILDecember 10, 2015
Changes in senior leadership in the US has resulted in disjointed strategy, vision and culture disruption. There is a lack of clarity around responsibility and functional reporting overlaps - which led to political control battles. Often the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Significant top line growth does not ensure good performance and profitability. Lots of great people who want to do a good job.
Pros
Lots of great people throughout the organization
Cons
Expensive benefits for poor coverage and no 401K matching

Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) –  Fresno, CAOctober 1, 2015
It was a positive atmosphere, the work load was heavy, but I enjoyed those whom I worked with on a day to day. Would not change my experience. Thank you for the job opportunity is all I have to say.

Quickly expanding operation, but severely hindered by mismanagement of resources and a broken communication process.
Plant Manager (Current Employee) –  Sturtevant, WISeptember 22, 2015
This is an ambitious company that has engineered a superior product, and places significant value into the services it provides to its wide base of customers. A more deliberate and thorough approach to syncing all aspects of its operations - especially communication - will streamline productivity and boost morale.

Fantastic Place To Work
Administration (Current Employee) –  Orlando, FLJuly 30, 2015
This is the best job I ever had! The pay is pretty good and there is plenty of room for advancement. The management is fantastic, especially the General Manager, Regional Manager and Plant Supervisor. You can go to them about anything. The best part about this job is you do not have to be stuck doing the same thing every day and if you want to re-locate, this company has plants all over the world!
Pros
Supportive Management, Good Pay
Cons
Expensive Healthcare

stable work with good pay
production associate (Current Employee) –  orlandoJuly 29, 2015
the best part of this job is that being related to the healthcare systems you never have to worry about not having any work to do or there being a lay-off there is always something to do

the tasks are simple, ive learned alot about repairing the equipment
the management are great people, firm but fair, basically as long as you do what your supposed to do you wont have any problems with the management they are always ready to lend a hand if things start to back up

the other employees here are hard workers they like to move fast and get things done efficiently

bottom line is if your a hard worker fast paced and reliable youll have no problem here
but if you cant keep up and your just looking to log some hours you wont make it
Pros
pay, consistency
Cons
nothing company specific
