It has been a while (a decade) since I was last employed with Data Projections, but I had a great experience there, save for the last few months, when new local management was brought in.
I originally came on board as an Administrative Assistant in charge of helping with Educational Bids and Tradeshows, also assisting the Executive Office Manager. Profits were not where the owners wanted them to be, and they were forced to consolidate some positions, and I was moved to the Front Office (while still maintaining many of my former responsibilities). My supervisor and the owner expected much, but were not overbearing.
When my husband was transferred from Houston (where I was - at the corporate office) to Dallas, they were able to transfer me, much to my delight. The owner expressed her displeasure for me leaving, but I took that as a sign that I had performed my duties well.
When I went to the Dallas branch, it was much smaller, and I was in charge of the front office, while also handling Inside Sales and rentals. Everything went very well, and the branch was like a family. Much of that changed when a new branch manager was hired, and soon after most of the employees at that branch were either laid off or they quit. I had just had a baby, so I used my layoff as an opportunity to become a full-time caregiver.
