Decent job, nice pay, don't expect much more
Employee (Former Employee) – Frisco, TX – February 1, 2017
Fun atmosphere to work in, decent pay, there's really no place like it. If you are a manager or supervisor, you won't have any trouble getting 40 hours, but sometimes they will cut you down to 38 or 39 hours. Part time people are usually in school or have a second job to make ends meet.
Benefits are very good, again only if you are full time. Pay is decent but don't expect raises too often even if you are working hard. They are tight when it comes to giving raises but have no problem wasting money on useless signs for the store or other unnecessary things.
If you do a good job, you may move up if there's an opening, but don't expect to transfer to another store if you're a good employee. They simply won't let you. The general manager makes that decision and he is more worried about lining his pockets than he is about actually caring about his employees. Many are not very happy here because of his condescending attitude toward us little people in the world. For this reason I know personally of 3 people who have left because of this. The other managers in the store however are very kind.
General manager, limited chance of promotion
