The company makes classic bracelets, chains, earrings, necklaces, rings, jewel-encrusted watches, eyewear, and fragrances; it caters to a high-end clientele and celebrities the likes of Charlize Theron and Brad Pitt. Some 20 David Yurman jewelry boutiques stretch from New York City to Beverly Hills to Las Vegas to Houston. The jewelry retailer also sells its pieces on a website hosted by Neiman Marcus and through several catalogs. Its bridal collection features Yurman's signature cable accents.
The company has been cultivating its brand for growth in recent years. Through an agreement with Groupe Clarins, the company developed its first fragrance. Although slowed by the recession, David Yurman also has been extending its reach into new markets abroad, such as with its focus to expand throughout the Far East. It boost visibility in 2012 and turn what the industry is calling f-commerce into sales, the company enlisted the help of model and brand ambassador Giselle Bündchen while sharpening its focus in using Facebook to elevate its luxury brand.
