Warehouse Supervisor/Driver, Decatur, IL - January 4, 2015
My typical day starts around 7:00 a.m. I check my emails for anything might be out of the ordinary of our daily route. This consists of a tri-state area per week. I have learned how to receive stock and job motors from different vendors. Also learned how to keep inventory in our computer program called ACS. I am the warehouse supervisor. My boss is in charge of customer services and sales. I have a lead man that reports to me and six additional drivers. The hardest part of my job is that on very busy days you have to be good at multi-tasking. You can have half a dozen people at any given time asking a half a dozen different things of you. I am expected to perform the tasks that are asked of me. The most enjoyable part of the job is keeping busy and there never seems to be a dull moment.
