Store development merchandiser, Stoke - June 10, 2015
A typical shift would be from 8pm-8am. I worked on a zero hour contract sometimes working 60 hours a week and some weeks having none. A lot of shifts required travel which could be from 30 minutes to 5 hours travelling. During my time at Deeset I learnt many new skills such as reading planogrammes, building shelving units, rotating stock and sorting of over stock and stock not on plannogrammes. I worked well within my team and built a good relationships with co-workers and management. The hardest part of the job I found was the long hours and travelling and finding time to socialise with family and friends and spending valuable time with y daughter. the mst enjoyable part of the job was meeting co-workers from different parts of the country and building relationships with them and forming new friendships.
