Assembly-line worker, Del Monte Foods NC - December 7, 2017
You're told that they will work you anywhere from 40 hours a week on up, but that's an option only given to 1st shift people . Second shift workers, like myself were only given whatever hours were left . Also, I hated having to ask where things were because most of the time I had to hunt down someone who spoke english . I also didn't appreciate how disorganized everything was there . Not the produce or equipment, but how little concern and patience they have in training with new workers . You would be asking questions and people would either just stare at you like you're an alien ( if they don't speak english), or they treat you like an idiot for not figuring everything out in just your first 2 days of being there !
