Del Monte Foods Company (Del Monte) is a producer, distributor and marketer of branded pet products and food products for the United States retail market. The Companys pet food and pet snacks brands include Meow Mix, Kibbles n Bits, Milk-Bone, 9Lives, Pup-Peroni, Gravy Train, Natures Recipe, Canine Carry-Outs and other brand names and its food brands – more... include Del Monte, Contadina, S&W, College Inn and other brand names. The Company also produces and distributes private label pet products and food products. Its products are sold nationwide, in all channels serving retail markets, as well as to the United States military, certain export markets, the foodservice industry and other food processors. At May 2, 2010, its facilities consisted of 17 production facilities and 10 distribution centers in the United States, as well as two production facilities in Mexico and one production facility in Venezuela.
