Del Sol Medical Center- Acute inpatient rehab care is offered in addition to the medical care our patients receive while in the acute care setting. Licensed therapists in the following disciplines perform all services: physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech language pathology.
Del Sol Rehab Unit- This 23 bed unit located on the 5th floor – more... of the hospital provides acute inpatient rehab to patients with the following diagnoses: amputation, brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, hip fracture, major multiple trauma, neurological disorders, congenital deformities, burns, and arthritic conditions such as rheumatoid or osteoarthritis. The unit is the only one in the city located within an acute care hospital, and is the only unit with a designated "hospitalist" as its medical director. Our treatment team consists of the following disciplines: a physician, rehab nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapist speech/language pathologist and a therapeutic recreation specialist.
Del Sol Outpatient Rehab Center- Outpatient Rehabilitation Services develops, coordinates and utilizes select knowledge and skills in planning, organizing and implementing programs for the care of individuals whose ability to function has been impaired or threatened by disease, injury, aging, or developmental problems. Each patient is evaluated, and based upon the results; individualized treatment programs are developed and implemented. Services are performed by licensed physical and occupational therapists that emphasize activities of daily living, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic modalities, aquatic therapy, gait training, and orthotic/prosthetic training. Speech Therapy services include dysphagia therapy, aphasia/communication/voice therapy, and cognitive therapy.
Del Sol LifeCare Center- Provides adult fitness, a wellness center, exercise classes, aquatics, and a cardiac rehab program. It is designed to help individuals gain knowledge and skills necessary for attaining and maintaining a high level of personal fitness by screening health risk and tailoring an exercise program to fit the individual's needs and goals. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
