Delaware North Companies is a well established leader in the food service and hospitality industry. We are currently seeking Line cooks to fill open positions within one of our many new locations throughout the Los Angeles International Airport. Our newest concepts include Wolfgang Puck Express and Chef Marimoto’s Skewers restaurants. We are looking for experienced Line Cooks to represent our company and many brands we partner with here at LAX. Below are some key requirments and responsibilities that we are looking for in an ideal candidate.

Requirements: Must have at least 2 years of line cook experience

Responsibilities:
Prepares food to specifications before and during unit operations.
Works well under pressure and is capable of executing multiple food orders within a short period of time.
Properly measures and portions all food items. Complies with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures.
Cooks all food to proper temprature specifications in a timely manner.
Utilizes kitchen equipment to prepare food items such as: knives, slicers, whips, pots, pans, warmers, steamers, grills, ovens, etc.
Knowledge of food tempratures and is capable of ensuring proper food temperatures are maintained and food is stored correctly.
Keeps workstation and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.
Follows and upholds all health codes and sanitation regulations.
Sets up and operates kitchen equipment
Uses waste control guidelines and records all waste on spoilage sheet.
