- Focus inside and outside sales efforts to build new corporate relationships that have large catering budgets. Following up and maintaining those relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and frequency.
Essential Job Functions:
- Generate sales leads outside of the office by using all forms of communication (e-mail, telephone, cold calls, mailings, attending networking events, conferences, follow-ups, horizontal marketing)
- Join local business organizations and attend meetings to promote Delicious Deliveries. Leverage association and organization resources (such as preferred vendor lists) to promote Delicious Deliveries and increase revenue.
- Communicate with operations to determine accurate delivery times and what Delicious Deliveries can and cannot promise and deliver when meeting with clients to meet and exceed customer expectations and ensuring maximum sales and profitability.
- Meet with new clients on first delivery to ensure great first experience.
- Follow up with new clients after deliver to ensure great first mile and last mile.
- Develop client list to be used for future mailings and communications.
- Create and implement quarterly marketing plan and goals to be reviewed.
