Working was always something new and always came with its own challenges, which helped me grow and develop myself and my technical abilities.

Dendreon was a great place to work! Working as a cell processing associate allowed me to gain first hand experience of working in a clean room. The co-workers were wonderful and they trained everyone very well.

it was an awesome company, however they things did not work out too well. The drug was very expensive, the problem was that some doctors shy away from the company due to reimbursement issues. My experience was a great one, wished they were still in nj.

Performed many assays. Spirit of cooperation was great in QC. Unfortunately the site in NJ was closed. Worked 3rd shift. Hardest part were the hours.

It was a great working environment with very friendly coworkers and management. The challenging part of the job was to work together as a team and the most enjoyable time was the lunch and dinner time together with coworkers.

My time at Dendreon was shorter than I would have liked. The company closed it's New Jersey Facility due to decisions made far beyond my pay grade. My time at Dendreon was challenging. It was a new experience for all of us, with many unique and new technologies be employed. The process for drug creation was streamlined many times, and over the course – more... of my time there I was witness to an impressive outcome of efficiency. There was a high amount of routine, that was inevitably shattered by one event or another requiring attention to a lesser used procedure or a phone call to a manager who was off premises. The job had many didactic qualities but my co-workers made the off-shift hours and the process hiccups fly by.
Due to the production methods and the therapy being unique there was much to learn. Watchin a facility go from clinical to commercial is a wonderful, but tough, experience.

Night shift, lots of training, hands on people. Great management team. Highly skilled and educated co-workers. Makes easy bonding. Not a hard job.

Not your typical experience. Be ready for a roller coaster ride, but it is the classic example of high risk high reward environment.

The local management promotes team work and does not tolerate back biting. The majority of people there are team players. Most are willing to do what ever it takes to get the job done.

There seems to be a lot of micro-managing. There is no feeling of value to the company. Could be a nice place if the management was stronger or changed.

Processing raw materials for lab. Provide support to labs by ordering supply and keeping inventory. File documentation as per cGMP resulation. Follow SOP. Working environment was very friendly. Team work.

This company was a great place to learn about leadership and how to manage an organization from ground up using cost effective methods to reduce overhead and maintain steady growth.

Upper management is not open or honest. Constanly changing work hours and compensation on short notice. Not responceive to workers questions or concerns reguarding pay, reasons for change in work hours.

Work environment is very different that other companies. Dendreon is one of its own kind product. We have set our schedule to meet patients requirement. Everyday is different day at Dendreon.

Dendreon has great science and technology!
Morale is a bit low with changing times.

it was a very good challenge and good work experience. could have been managed a lot better and the product marketing could have been done a lot better also.

Employement with the company was great, I enjoyed working with the different types of people there. I learned lots of new things from working at Dendreon.
