When I worked there it was a good company to work for.
Fire Safety Director/Security Officer (Former Employee) –  New York, NYAugust 28, 2017
It was a pleasure. I did my job to the best of my ability and was compensated. I learned what an excellent manager should do and how he should operate. Many of the staff was a pleasure to work with, the hardest part of the job was the false alarms at the fire command station. The most enjoyable part of the job was learning something new each day, and the Security Training.
Pros
Had an Excellent Supervisor at the time I worked there, also many of the housekeeping staff was a pleasure to work with.

Productive and fun place to work. Guest-focused managed/owned boutique hotels located in NYC and other gateway cities. Management very supportive of employee on-going education.

Company is not what it was
Sales Manager - The Benjamin & Fifty NYC (Current Employee) –  New York, NYJune 21, 2017
over the past three years, the company has lost several of their management contracts with different properties, even selling off their largest NYC hotel. Upper management does not have a grip on the day to day property level.

Pros & Cons
Revenue (Former Employee) –  New York, NYMay 24, 2016
At corporate the norm is 12, 13, 14 hours of work for everyone under salary. Your coworkers will stare with jaw drops if you even think of leaving after 8 or 9 hours of work. Automatically you become the most irresponsible/unrealiable employee ever.

Very young croud with big titles, big egos, great actors. Also, lots of changes with VPs which results in them bringing their own team onboard and firing everyone. Always a drama. Very high turnover. No job security.

Great opportunity for growth "My name is Oprah, you get a promotion! you get a promotion! you ALL get a promotion!". But you must be friends with higher management over drinks to get ahead. Benefits (with the exception of medical) are great! holidays, personal, sick, 401K etc. havent seen anything like it in any other company.
Pros
Benefits and opportunity for growth
Cons
Favoritism, No job security

No pros except for good pay
Front Office Agent (Current Employee) –  New YorkMarch 17, 2014
Employees are treated as robots often doing back to back shifts. Skeleton crew to save money. It is difficult to work when you lack the necessary resources like room keys, working computer, working printer, etc.. Preferential treatment is common. It is a great work place if you form a friendship outside of the workplace with managers. Everyone is for themselves. What happened to the job being like a second "family"? You have to be a snake like the majority to get anywhere. The only pro to working here is the compensation. Although it is not a union position, it pays almost as much.
Pros
Decent pay
Cons
lacks resources, no job security, unfair, preferential treatment

Conference Services Manager (Current Employee) –  Washington dcOctober 16, 2012
I would say the most enjoyable part of working at the Liaison is the wide range of people you work with. Wit in one day you will meet a family visiting for vacation and also see members of congress attending events and everything in between.
