First and foremost, this is a stepping stone to better opportunities. Over the last 2 years management has sold out its staff and decreased pay and any incentive to stay and they retain the right to move you around and transfer you to positions you didn't interview for. Management is not very supportive and couldn't care less about your career objectives. If you have a degree, explore opportunities at the main Denver Water campus such as planning, environmental management, or other water related specialties that require a science degree. The treatment side and the water quality laboratory is currently experiencing excessive turnover not seen in years past due to poor management, pay decreases, and unfair treatment.
