I had an awesome experience working with customer, and helping people receive beneficial information. I graded exams, and administered exams as well. I was not always a peaceful environment but we were trained very well to deal with each situation.

CSR - Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) – Virginia – September 7, 2016
I worked for this agency for over 7 years, the hours are long and we received very little help when customer volume was high. Upper management is only looking out for self. There is no pay incentive to stay for a longer period of time and the advancement opportunities is very low (maybe higher if you are in the Richmond area). I was over qualified to work there seeing as I have both a BA and a Master's but stayed due to (at the time) enjoyed my job. After over 7 years with no pay raise and no advancement I choose to leave to find a job with an actual career path. This is a great job for individual finishing college or in between jobs. Do not expect this to be an actual career. If you have a family to support would not recommend this job for you. The work/Life balance is very poor as the agency believes the customer needs out weigh there employees. So to that line of thinking employee burn out is very possible after a few years.
Motor Vehicle Field Representative (Former Employee) – Bell Gardens, CA – May 10, 2013
The challenges of different situations that may come your way in your daily work. Although some days maybe more difficult than others when dealing with the public, the reward of helping customers and feeling good about it. I learned that listening to others is very important, and not to take it personally if you have an irate customer.I worked in my office for over 20 years, with management and co-workers and try to get along with all. I really liked my job and when I came across a situation that either never encountered or had not had over the years I felt good when I could figure out a situation. I also helped my co-workers when I could figure out a problem. I like helping everyone as much as I could. I enjoyed working with everyone.

Processed multiple transactions (Vehicle titles and taxes, ID cards, and driver's licensing and the collection of fees) on line to update motor vehicles and driver management records utilizing several computer systems. Conducted written driver's licensing tests, and vehicle driving tests (evaluating the driving ability of applicants) determining the eligibility/denial of driver's license
good working environment and ability of improving customer service skills.
