A typical day at work consists of answering 90% inbound phone calls and assisting taxpayers with account related issues concerning inquiries on tax related law deductions and credits, balances owed, along with questions concerning refunds or adjustments made to the account. The additional 10% pertains to faxing outbound or receiving inbound documents, reviewing updates on policies, and emailing internal information to management.
I learned how to exceed in analyzing information, communicating with people, and resolving complex issues.
Management is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
Co-workers, especially the seasonal ones are very helpful and team players.
The hardest part of the job are the daily changes that may take place after becoming acclimated with the first initial change, however, due to such knowledgeable management the transition is normally effortless.
The most enjoyable part of the job are the application meetings and 30 min read times given to receive updated on site goals being met and to read up on the policy changes and provide time to review the extensive details if not first understood.
